WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 23-27

READING:
This weeks letters are Pp and Cc.  The class will also review the letters Mm, Rr, Tt, and Ss.
Please continue to ask your child to think of a word that begins with the sound of these letters.
The class has learned most of the sight words on the list that I sent home.  I am going to send home another list for your child to study.  Please have your child read over these words each night.

MATH:
This week the class is working on more than and less than. Please continue to practice writing numbers 1-10.

LETTER OF THE WEEK SEPT. 9th-13th

This week the class is learning about the letter Rr.  The class will also review letters M and S from last week.  Please ask your child to name something that begins with each of these letters and have him or her tell you the sound of each letter.
In math, the class is working on counting objects and writing the numbers 1-10.

• Homework on Tuesday and Thursday.
• Thank you for all the hard work on AR!
• AR 50% day is Wednesday, September 11th.
• Please study sight words each night.
• Don't forget money for BOOK FAIR.
